Serendipity-doEvery day is a new hair day. I really never know how it's going to turn out. Some days I can strut out of the house convinced that I look very "Meg Ryan in 'You've Got Mail'"--only a shade or two browner. Other days I'm just sure I'm Carrot Top--only a shade or two saner. And it's always "up in the air" whether or not all that hair gel is going to keep my hair...well..."up in the air." I tend to worry if I'm going to end up with some kind of pancake, horizontal force-field-looking thing happening. It's not that I don't use plenty of gel. I just really never know what might happen with it. I call it "serendipity-do." Worry is one of those things that's about as slippery as cheap hair gel. You know, I can convince myself that worry works. Most of the things I worry about never happen, so it must be working, right? But God's word gives us a better way. Prayer instead of worry. That REALLY works--better than the highest end hair gel. My hair gel? I've decided not to worry about it. I guess I'll just keep on doing what I'm serendipity-doing.
