French BraidEcclesiastes 4:12 Recently, I was plaiting my hair in a French braid, a sophisticated form of braiding, not the little girl pig tails (where did this name ever come from?) I wore as a youngster. To acquire this hairstyle you divide the hair in three sections, crossing them over in a prescribed manner. A most beautiful example of a braid is the Trinity- Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Trinity is a description of unique relationship of God the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit. Theses three are so intermingled and woven in the heart of a Christian, that they cannot be separated, though each has a special function. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:12 that a three-strand cord is not easily broken. The next time you see a French braid remember the Trinity, and thank God for it.
