Reach Higher!"Live no longer as the unsaved do, for they are blinded and confused. Their closed hearts are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds against Him, and they cannot understand His ways. They don't care anymore about right or wrong and have given themselves over to impure ways." Ephesians 4:17-19 Many people hear the term "born again", yet don't really understand what it means, instead perceiving it to reflect someone who is an extremist or fanatical. The term "born again" merely represents a rebirth from abandoning ones former sinful ways, to embracing a straight and narrow path where Christ may be glorified. It is a rebirth of mind, body and spirit. What glorifies Christ? Goodness & righteousness: living Christ's message to love one another and treat others as you wish to be treated. As the above Bible verse reflects, if we have released sin's hold on us, it only makes sense that we will no longer live as those who continue to walk in darkness, rejecting God and His credo of love. Such people cannot comprehend this message because their hearts are hardened, and their desire is not truly toward knowing what is right and wrong. Instead, their life philosophy is one dominated by the selfish and lustful desires of their own will, where flesh, rather than spirit, is given priority. God calls us to reach beyond our flesh and blood and to trust His mercy, wisdom and abilities. If you are already a Christian, yet you are not fully convicted of your faith to the point where your actions speak just as loud as your words, then today is a good day to recommit your life to Christ. If you would like to experience this rebirth, abandoning sin and grasping on to Gods good ways, follow the links at the end of this page so you may receive additional resources. I challenge you today to REACH HIGHER!
