Coffee 101

"Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, And everything is for his glory." Romans 11:36

While I was buying coffee at my favorite coffee spot a few mornings ago, a woman by the name of Axe ordered coffee behind me. While I was silently chuckling and trying not to let it show, It dawned on me then and there that God loves diversity in His creation. It is not to hard to see, when you look at nature around you, how much God loves diversity, whether it is the fruited plains and for spacious skies, or the plants and animals of the ocean.

What I have to remember day today is that I am God's creation. I was created by Him for His enjoyment. No matter what I am doing, I am doing it because the Lord laid it before me. Whether it is reading a influential and life-changing book, or just doing the simple things in life, I am a diverse creation of God.

Today I challenge you to remember, in everything that you are doing, that you are a creation of God. When you really begin to feel like God's creation and you start to recognize how diverse of a life you and everyone around you has, life ceases to be a bore. I suggest taking the second paragraph of this writing and repeating it often for several days. I have something similar and I made a bookmark of it. Remind yourself often that YOU are God's created one and YOU have a purpose. I love hearing stories about people and I love to see how God uses everyday things and situations for extraordinary purposes. God accomplishes this by bringing diverse people, thoughts and things into our lives.
