Credit CounselSo do you suppose that Moses was a little put out with God because he didn't get his name on a book of the Bible? Think about it, he delivered the Ten Commandments to the world, yet you never hear a preacher say, "Turn to the book of Moses." Still, I can't really imagine Moses whining to God, "Joshua got one-- and he was my intern!" I think Moses was more concerned with the Name of his God. Isaiah 26:8 says, "Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts."(NIV) His name; His fame. So instead of mugging for credit, let's work toward giving all credit to our Heavenly Father. And that's my "credit counsel" for the week.
