HootenanniesWe gathered on the lawn and sang along with whatever group was performing - we all knew the words or we pretended to. Peter, Paul and Mary came one weekend - now you know how old I am! Still today when I hear certain songs, I am transported back in my mind to remember the fellowship we had as we all were "on the same page of music." A pastor once said that if you write a song right, people will sing it forever! Today, try this - take a favorite scripture and put a little melody to it as you go through your day. It doesn't matter if you are an accomplished musician or if you think you can't carry a tune in a bucket! The Bible tells us to "make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise (Psalms. 98:4)." Today, give your highest praise to God which is what hallelujah means in Hebrew!
