Still Smiling?
After the endless photo session before the wedding, I wondered if her smile would last. After all, I thought, how long can one smile? I asked her if she thought she would have a smile left to give to her future hubby as she walked down the aisle on her fathers arm. Of course, she said, this is the happiest day of my life, and I have been waiting for this very moment my entire life! God smiles down upon His children, as He watches them grow and mature in their relationship with Him and in their faith walk. He smiles as He gives us His good gifts, and we accept them and use them to glorify Him. But does He ever get tired of smiling? I think not, for I believe each time a unbeliever turns his heart toward God, God has a great big smile indicating His joy in the situation. And not only that, we are told in the Bible that all the angels rejoice in this special moment! What a glorious sound must resound in the heavenly realms! Smiles are contagious- so lets start passing them around. I believe it is what God would have us do!
