Fake DiamondsIn similar manner, sometimes sin can appear veryappealing, yet when more closely examined, thefoundation of sin is evil, and its path leads todestruction. This is how Satan works. He masks evilto make it appeal to man's senses. Our flesh maytingle and find pleasure for a time while flirting withsin, but just when you think your sins will never findyou out, it does, and this is when heartbreak begins, families are often devastated, and marriages begin tocrumble. Of course, there is also the personal pricewe pay spiritually. Just as you would not purchase a beautiful diamondhaphazardly, we should not take our spiritual welfarefor granted. Test and try all things to see if theyare from God or Satan; fleeing from evil, and cleavingto goodness. Do you desire a good life? Then seek God, and do not bemislead by cheap imitations.
