The FinchI had no tidbits to offer my tiny feathered friend sohe did not stay long, but as he took off and I followedhis journey I could see him going from balcony tobalcony trusting someone to offer him hislife-sustaining nourishment. It is with similar trust that we are to place our needsand desires in the hands of God. In my view, man does not pray enough. Those who praytend to pick and choose what is worthy for God's ear,and what may be too insignificant or perhaps even toolarge for Him to respond to. This is a truth: If a matter is important to YOU, thenit is important to GOD. Personally, I do not like good gifts to go to waste. Just as I would not let a wrapped present sit unopened,I do not believe in squelching God's awesome abilities. I allow God to be commander of my ship, trusting Himto take me where He sees fit. Sometimes I understandHis purpose, and other times I do not, but like thatlittle finch, I try to trust His greater power. I invite you to do the same. There is much we can learn from wild birds.
