Trailer Park
As I walked on the beach in San Destin, Fla., I saw a most delightful sight. There, right in the middle of high rise condominiums which carried enormous price tags, was a trailer park. Air Streams and many other trailers were parked on expensive property. This sight put a smile on my face, as I saw children and adults gather their beach gear and descend to the waters' edge. How is must please the heart of God that ALL His children have the opportunity to enjoy His majestic ocean and beach. I pray this specific piece of land will stay available for the trailer park people, and that the owners of the property realize that they are God's instrument . This illustration reminded me that God is not a respecter of persons. Money, title, position and clout do not count in God's book. We are all- every single one of us- the same in His eyesÂ…worthy of salvation and a personal relationship with Him. He loves each of us just as we are, but wants to draw us close to Himself. He wants our eyes to be opened to His surrounding beauty, and our ears to listen to His gentle whisper in the breeze. He wants us to use our hands to serve other, and our heart to love Him. He wants all this for each person on this earth, and this is a good thing for each of us to remember when we begin to decide who is worthy and who is not!
