Seeking UnderstandingYou have to "be there" to "get it". No one can really understand outside of experientially. You can have all the head knowledge in the world, but until you experience some things, there's just no way you can understand them. A long time ago, about 2000 years, God fulfilled a plan He'd had since way back in the Garden of Eden. He became a person, because He wanted to reconcile us to Himself. That was the plan. So - Jesus, God in the flesh, was born as a little tiny baby. He grew up in a family and experienced every single thing that every person does. We're all pretty much alike when you get right down to it. Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived and author of Ecclesiastes, said: "There is nothing new under the sun." Jesus understands us, because He's "been there". In the Bible, Hebrews 2:17, it says: "For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way...." So whenever we are seeking understanding, we can remember Someone is right here to do that very thing.
