Your Relationship With God #014

But let me ask you. How do you know God did not create you? "I just know," you say. But how do you know? Have you searched out every corner of the universe? Do you know all there is to know about everything? You refuse to believe in the God of the Bible who does know everything! But then you claim to know everything by denying His existence. Do you think you are God?

Listen to what the Bible says. It tells us the greatest sin of mankind is rejecting God in favor of self-worship. It says people have "exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man." It says, "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator" (Romans 1:23, 25). And this is your sin if you think you can live without God.

It is because of this sin that Jesus Christ came into the world to die on a cross almost 2000 years ago. He came to pay the penalty due to people like you for their sins. And so it is time for you to turn back to God. You can't get along in this life without Him. And without Him you will definitely not enter heaven in the life to come. So it is time for you to admit your sins to God. It is time for you to trust in the sacrifice of Christ as the only adequate payment for your sins.
