Breath of Life

I held my daughters hand and said, "Oh please, Jesus, pleeeeze. They gave the baby an injection of something, and before long, we heard his little wail. We believe during labor our daughter was over-medicated, therefore, so was Garrison. It was the shot they gave him that counteracted the medicine in his little body. That cry was the sweetest sound I ever heard, I can tell you.

Each of us needs another"breath of life,"and it is given to us from the Lord. It is the breath of the Holy Spirit, and we need it to sustain our spiritual life, as much as we need air for our physical life. The Holy Spirit is mentioned from Genesis through Revelation in the Bible, and any Biblical concordance has many listings referring to this. The Holy Spirit was given to the group who were present at Pentecost, and has spread from those few to millions of people all over the world.

For all who will acknowledge Jesus as Lord, the breath of the Holy Spirit will fill us and equip us in amazing ways. Truly, having His"Breath of Life"is essential for everyone, and we need to thank God for sending Him to us.
