UltrasoundModern technology is truly amazing ! I stood and watched the preparation, then the nurse checked things out on the screen, and finally, she turned the screen so we could see the baby. As she pointed out the different parts of his little body within the womb, I was amazed. I saw the little femur bone, clenched hand, feet, extended legs, a most beautiful facial view, and his perfect little heartÂ…. beating away. I have prayed that this little one would have a heart that would beat for Jesus, and as I saw the steady pumping of his little heart, tears just rolled down my face. What a miracle, what a privilege for me, what a blessing. God tells us in the Bible that He knows us when we were in our mother's womb.Psalm 139:14,15says " I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place." In Isaiah 44:2 we read, " The Lord made you. He formed you in the womb and he will help you." God has see us from the start, and I am thankful He has put His hand of love on us from our beginning. How marvelous that modern technology has now give us a glimpse of this miracle in progress, also. I stand amazed and awestruck. New life- what a miracle.
