No TimeFor the victims of the recent dreadful terrorist disasters, it was sooner, and not later. For them, there was no time. No time to take care ofunfinished business. No time to say or do something they had planned to dosomeday in the "Isle of Later." No time to think about the "hereafter" wherethey would be going... forever and ever. It is so easy to procrastinate and put things off, especially importantdecisions. I have the best intentions, yet getting "a round tuit" often getsleft in the dust for immediate priorities. But the most important decision we could ever make is one we don't have toput off, not for a single second. It's not something we can get somebody elseto do for us, nor is it a lengthy, time-consuming task. It is simple: Several places in the Bible* it says that if we seek the Lord honestly, withour hearts, and call on Him, we will be found by Him, and saved. Not just afew, not the called and chosen, but everyone. It also says that if we forsakehim, He will reject us forever. Today, while we have time, let us be sure we have taken that step to seek theLord, call on His name, and be found by Him. He is waiting for that, with open arms and a loving heart. *Isaiah 55:6,Proverbs 8:18,Deuteronomy 4:28-30,Chronicles 28:10,Jeremiah 29:13,Joel 2:32,Amos 5:4,Acts 2:21,Romans 10:13
