Vision

The brain is a fascinating instrument, and while it's intended purpose is forgood, sometimes, unrealistic, obsessive, or negative thought patterns steeran individual farther away from God and goodness, rather than bringing himcloser.

Dreaming dreams while a person is sleeping is one thing, and dreaming ofpositive opportunities and possibilities while awake is another, yet there isa difference between constructive dreaming and unrealistic fantasizing.

Fantasies may make me "feel nice" when I indulge in them, but do nothing tochange my life in any godly way. In fact, unrealistic fantasies can make theindividual so desire something that will, chances are, never be tangible,thus, desire turns in to obsessive, unhealthy hunger that can never bequenched.

Vision, on the other hand, is something entirely different.

Imagine what the world would be like if we all lay aside fantasies so that wemay then embrace visions.

What is the burning vision you live for?

Vision is not just some quaint, sentimental idea of what we'd "like to have." We have to fan the vision into flame until it becomes like a glowing emberwithin us. Having a clear and godly vision opens up many more doors ofpossibility because, with God, all things are possible! God cannot blesssin, but He CAN bless the life of the individual who seeks Him as diligentlyas the riches of the world!

I encourage you today, to lay aside all ungodly, unproductive, andunrealistic thoughts, and to instead, cleave to our Lord and Savior, JesusChrist, who will direct all your paths, and open up the floodgates of heavenso that all who follow Him may be truly blessed.
